Hello, I’m Katie Jack! I am a photographer and business owner. I am most well-known for portraits that are genuine and authentic. I absolutely love working with clients, especially couples and families, to preserve memories through photos.

I am 28 years old, born and raised in Lehi, Utah. My photography business is currently based out of Utah County. I've been doing photography since 2012 and it all started with a yearbook class in High School. I love traveling with my family and camera to capture my memories of exploring the world with the people I love. My other hobbies include scuba diving, reading, playing and watching baseball and softball, teaching children swimming lessons, and spending time with my family.

I graduated from Utah Valley University with a bachelor’s degree in Art of Design in 2019. I find joy in my photography work and continue to help my clients create images that will last forever. I also enjoy pushing the bounds of creativity and trying new things within the medium of digital photography.

I prioritize keeping a personal history for my family and me. My passion and profession include helping others do that too. I have a strong belief that keeping a personal history matters! It has made a big impact on my life and I hope it will enrich the lives of my posterity. When you ask people what they would rescue from their home if it were burning, or what they would take with them on a journey they would never return from, what do you think they would say? Most people I’ve asked have responded that they would take photo albums, personal journals, family recipes, or special items that have been passed down for generations. This was very interesting to me, and I believe it is because we want to remember and be remembered. Our lives have value and each one of us is worth remembering.

Our photographs will most likely outlive us. Our posterity will treasure them, they will look to them to dream about what we were like, and what it was like to live in the time we do. They freeze moments in our lives that pass too quickly, and which seem to have little importance to us at the time. They are small pieces to the larger picture of our lives. They are our story! Our legacy!
